Meet Romelle. Real life Go-To customer and even real-er legend. A certified chromatophile, Romelle loves the colour peach—in her design work, in her wardrobe, and most importantly, in her skincare. She’s also cracked what tackles hyperpigmentation (niacinamide) and how to turn every skincare session into a self-care ritual (mood lighting and incense). We decided to ask her how she skincares.
Star Sign: Cancer
Skin Sign: Swan
Skin Type: Oily
Skin Concerns: Hyperpigmentation, dark spots, and hormonal breakouts.
Routine In A Few Words: Fun and nurturing—I love experimenting with new products (mainly because I'm a sucker for fun design and packaging) over time I've come to learn about what ingredients suit my skin.
AM Routine:
- La Roche Posay Mela B3 Gel Cleanser
- Clarifying Exfoliator
- Clarifying Face Hero Oil
- Cicaplast Barrier Repairing Cream
PM Routine:
- La Roche Posay Mela B3 Gel Cleanser

Skincare Advice: Don't over do it but also have fun with it. Don't view it as a chore.
Favourite Skincare Ingredient: NIACINAMIDEEEEE!!!
Skincare Sin: I'm a serial skin picker, which leads to the dark scars.
How Your Relationship With Skincare Has Changed: I've come to accept that my skin is an organ; it changes and adapts to the seasons and whatever life throws at me. If I get a few spots, I now tell myself they're signs of having a good time, potentially it's time to lay low for a little bit to reset.
Where Do Your Skincare: Bathroom in the morning. Bedroom at night, with mood lighting and incense lit. In a robe, always.
Why Do You Skincare: It's a self-care ritual that either kickstarts my day or winds down my mind for sleep.
