Four Ways To Use Your Very Glowy Primer

Four Ways To Use Your Very Glowy Primer

One glowy primer. Endlessly glowy skin.

It's been a few months since Very Glowy Primer waltzed its way into your makeup bag—and we’ve heard you guys loud and clear: you’re obsessed. And we can’t blame ya. Light-reflecting, makeup-gripping goodness that hydrates with skincare ingredients? Say less.

We thought it was time to take your love affair with Very Glowy Primer to new heights. Here’s a very useful guide of four ways to use it beyond just your typical primer step.

Let’s glow!

1. Ditch The Foundation: Wear Very Glowy Primer On Its Own

As we’ve screamed loud and far, makeup has no rules. Wear it however you like. Do an astonishingly wonky winged eyeliner. Take it off with Fancy Face. Draw on another one that’s somehow even wonkier!

With this in mind, Very Glowy Primer can most definitely be worn On Its Own. No other makeup needed. Typically, the prime (sorry) purpose of a primer is to prep the skin for makeup, and we’ve formulated Very Glowy Primer with a bunch of skin-loving ingredients that hydrate and replenish your skin as it does. Plus, blur imperfections and obviously, deliver an ethereal glow.

When worn by itself, the result is the ultimate your-skin-but-better look without heavy makeup or multiple steps. Natural, effortless, and enviably radiant.

2. Mix It Up: Add A Pump To Your Base

If you love the idea of Very Glowy Primer on its own, but favour a fraction more coverage—mix a pump or two with a few drops of your favourite foundation, BB cream, or tinted moisturiser.

This will help sheer out your foundation product for a lighter base whilst dialing up that natural-looking glow. It’s the cheat’s way to an all-over dewy base in only one step.

3. Highlight The High Points

Ever practical (it’s a Virgo), Very Glowy Primer can be worn under makeup and on top of it. Prep your skin with a pump or two (or don’t!), apply your base products, and then bring it back out for your cheek steps.

Tap a few dabs of Very Glowy Primer over the tops of your cheekbones and high points for a subtle, streak-free hit of radiance that won’t mess with your foundation.

4. All Over Glow

A tip we gleaned straight from the set of our primer shoot: use Very Glowy Primer across collarbones and shoulders for a swathe of luminosity.

The hydrating formula helps to replenish the skin while illuminating the décolletage region. Since your face stops at your boobs, why shouldn’t your chest receive the same hydrating sheen.
